High school graduation shout outs

Well, the inevitability has finally come and we (well, most of us anyway) get to (or should I say have to) leave high school (well not really, we just don’t come back for classes -.-). I’ve gotten to know a lot people really well, some less than I’d have liked, but still gotten to know nonetheless. So now, here I am, procrastinating studying to write this for you guys, so you had better damn well read it (or not, I wrote this more for myself than you guys so whatever~)

Grade 12, from my experience and point of view anyway, was a lot worse than grade 11. To put it simply, grade 12 was much too frustrating, what with losing a ton of data (some of you know I think), fighting with people, exams, worrying about marks, and just plain confusing times. But nonetheless, you’ve all been there for me, and mutually, I’ve always tried to be there for you (though I probably did more damage than healing, I suck with words, I’m sorry D:) If anything, grade 12’s most enjoyable times are the parties, the hangouts, watching other people get drunk and just sittin’ in the corner relaxing, procrastinating studying for that next test. Yep. Time flies.

So without further ado, I might as well start this shoutout thing that most people seem to do for some reason…*jumps on the bandwagon*

Cheung, Lawrence – WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! SIITTT DOOOWWNNNN. *flares nostrils and blows* Fun times this year and last year, yo. What with all the calculator clicking (yeah 1 mil =D), the free paper (math contest) and oh, of course, Tetris, Mario, Megaman, Insaniquarium, Halo, and… stuff. So here’s to UBC next year, and hope you can find your transcript before it’s too late LOL. *still can’t believe you beat me on the calculus final without doing jack)

Mok, Denise – Well, the time has come, and now you finally have to let go of me and stop beating on me. It’s a good thing (at least for me because my health is no longer at risk ;D) Despite all that abuse, we’re still best buds. If there’s anything I’ll never forget about you is the way you’ll come out of nowhere and smack me for no apparent reason, or just latch on and never let go. Btw, leaving high school means no more rides home >.> GO GET YOUR LEARNERS FOOL D: We made that deal in December of 2006 and you still haven’t hauled yourself to the ICBC office to take the test -.-

Song, Kari – Hurrah, you finally made it to the end of the year and graduated as a Canadian~ And.. What can I say? I’m glad to have met you despite all the twists and turns that I’ve mentioned before. Things may not have worked out, but not everything in life is as straightforward as they should be. So who knows; maybe we’ll cross paths again in the near (distant is more likely though lawl) future~

Wang, Rebecca – And so the silent child stays silent. Never got to really know you, know you. But got a few words out of you nonetheless, so I’ll count that as a personal victory. I’ll always remember Wartsman and Hasli-diglet and the oh-so-hard-for-Justin-to-get-you-to-draw-Motoko lol. Yep, the highlights of reading blocks before chemistry~ But anyway, I wish you the best in the future.

Wong, Erin – So it’s been 4 years of Japanese and you’re finally *ahem* fluent LOL. You are whether you like it or not. Anyway, if there’s anything I won’t forget, it’s the comic that you drew of Lawrence and me. So otherwise, it’s been fun and I suppose maybe someday we’ll cross paths again *hopes so* Good luck next year, and don’t kill yourself in frustration =D ~i3/7 S! |\|!U3~

Wong, Justin – OMG TROGDOR AND YTMND AND WIIS AND MILK AND BIKES BEING STOLEN!!! Erm. Yeah, that’s basically what happened all through the years that I’ve known you. Ahh yes, and while I’m writing this, you tell me “LEEEERRROOOOYYYY JEEEEEENNNNKKKIIINNNSSSSS” and you rush off to the chemistry provincial. Then again, I haven’t even eaten lunch yet so… BUT ANYWAY. ‘Tis been really fun. I can’t not say that you haven’t brightened up my life, even with all the English and Chem emo-ing that you’ve been doing, especially in English this year. Congrats, you finally beat me in English.

Wong, Vivian; – Hurrah! I think we first met in Grade 10 o.O But only this year have I really gotten to know you lol. Who cares. Sun Run this year was definitely one of the best times I’ve spent just walking. On the other hand, I really appreciate your patience with me, with all my troubles and all those problems that I run into. So yep, I have you to thank for that. But remember! I’ll always be around selling BUTT SCRATCHERS?!! BUTT SCRATCHER!!! Err… >_>

Well… That’s really all I want to write out. For the rest of you who weren’t mentioned, know that I’ll always remember you (haha Facebook) and I appreciate all your support, or lack of putting me down =)

So congratulations on making it past 13 (K-12) years of education, and long live Grad 2007! Love you all~

Matt
