Don’t you just hate it when your mind and your heart contradict each other? o.O Blagh.

I think it’s worse when they both contradict -you-.

Just barely

Okay, okay. The first line was all my percentages. The second line is my top four provincially examinable courses. The percentage after the “~” is the average.

Okay. So onto today. As we all know, Charles was wearing a toga. He looked like he should have frozen his ass off but yeah. So he comes into English out of his costume, and everybody notices that he’s not wearing it. Mrs. Calaciura asks about it and then assumes that it probably wasn’t appropriate. Then Justin mutters “It’s barely appropriate.”

And that’s when I slammed my head on my arm and just laughed. He couldn’t understand why for a second either lol.

I was so tempted to like…POKE his nipple with something.
OnionKiD | 2006-12-01 20:40:00

Omg, I just got why you laughed so hard at the barely appropriate thing XD!!! *high five*
OnionKiD | 2006-12-01 20:40:00

Marks

95%, 94%, 91%, 88%, 87%, 86%, 79%, 78% ~ 87.25%
94%, 91%, 88%, 79% ~ 88%

S’okay. Could be better. English is kicking my ass though.

….You’re taking 12 courses? D:
Iunno how to read this.
OnionKiD | 2006-11-30 23:59:00

Snow days

var snowheight;
var sleep;
var homework;

function complain(toWho) {
    trace(“DAMNIT ” + toWho + “. EVERYBODY ELSE IS OFF SCHOOL D:”)
do walk();
}

function noschool() {
    sleep + 6;
    homework–;
}
function gotoschool() {
    sleep = 7;
    homework++;
complain(SD38);
}

if (snowheight > 30) {
    noschool();
} else {
    gotoschool();
}
end();

Yep. Really bored. And somewhat pissed off.

Pessimism

Funny. My sister was getting so worked up about having a snow day. Me, I played the pessimist. I won. My sister’s finding out the hard way that pessimists always win when it comes to snow days in Richmond.

Dammit.
Freeze1337 | 2006-11-27 10:53:00

You’re a pessimist? But you’re the one who tells me to stop being so “blah”. D:

Kwantlen

Kwantlen Presentation:

Presenter: So we have three campuses, one in Richmond, one in Surrey, and one being built in Cloverdale. So. Who’s actually been on a Kwantlen campus?
Me: (whispering) I think I was practising parking.
Erin: *LOL* Actually, me too.

I used to practice at Lansdowne >.>; *right across the street yo*

Backing up your iPod’s music

Okay. So you’ve got your iPod and you want to take those songs and transfer them.

Step 1: Go to anywhere on your computer and on the top bar, go Tools => Folder Options…

Step 2: In Folder Options, go under the View tab and make sure “Show Hidden Files and Folders” is checked. Then click OK.

Step 3: Connect your iPod and open up iTunes. Under options, make sure “Enable Disk Use” is enabled. Click Apply. Close iTunes.

[Click to expand]

Step 4: Navigate to your iPod in My Computer or whatever you use.

Step 5: Open the folder “iPod_Control”. Then go into the folder “iTunes”

Step 6: Right mouse click “iTunesDB” and select “Open With…”

Step 7: Select Notepad and click OK.

Step 8: So say I wanted to find the song “Winter Love”. Go Edit => Find…
So, to find a song, type the song name with spaces between all the letters. If it has spaces, type 2 spaces where those spaces would be. So Winter Love would become “W i n t e r L o v e”.

Step 9: So if you look ahead of where we just searched, there’s a path that tells the iPod where that specific song is stored. In my case, it’s in “/iPod_Control/Music/F08/ASIX.mp3”.

Step 10: So just navigate to that location on your iPod and there it is.

Step 11: Open it just to make sure that’s the file you want. Then copy it to wherever you need it.

Step 12: When you’re done, either go back and disable disk use in iTunes, or do the following:
Right mouse click the middle icon in the next picture.

Select USB Mass Storage Device and click Stop.

A new window opens up. Make sure “Apple iPod USB Device” is one of the things listed. Click OK.

And you’re done. And by the way, it’s a good idea to keep your music backed up on your computer.

Woow o_o It’s that complicated? I thought it was supposed to be some ordinary feature with iTunes…like a “click the ‘take song from iPod’ button”.
OnionKiD | 2006-11-23 21:12:00

diuuu, that’s so complicated >=( CREATIVE mp3 players for the win LOL x)
Kookie_Jar | 2006-11-24 00:15:00

I am very thankful for my simple-to-use mp3 right now…(hurray for Sony)
